UPSOM Pre-Medical Enrichment Program (PEP)

Program Overview

PEP is a four-week, non-residential intensive program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM) for college students who live or study in the Pittsburgh area. Students will participate in daily instruction in anatomy and physiology, develop standardized testing skills, and receive near-peer mentorship from current medical students. A key goal of the program is to support Pittsburgh-area college students pursuing medical careers who are committed to community-based health care. Please note that PEP is not tied to admission to medical school at UPSOM or any other school.
